R&B front cover analysis

This is the fron cover of one of the most prestigious R&B magazine-VIBE. As you can see, the title is extremely petruding on this picture. This is to emphasise the masthead-VIBE. The masthead is in red writing, this is used for two reasons; to stand our on the plain background, and to keep within the colour scheme of mainly red and black typography. The most dominating part of this front cover is the image. There is one image of the rapper T.I. in a white suit and black tie. This again, cimpliments the colour scheme as it uses neutral colours so the writing stand out aswell. There is typical imagery of a bar code used and the date of issue of the magazine.
