Target audience evaluation of my final product

To get some constructive criticism and help off my peers, I created this page on Padlet which allows me to store my Double page spread, contents page and front cover on a blank wall and produces sticky notes in which my peers can write notes and some changes in which will overall benefit my magazine. Created with Padlet

FINAL MUSIC MAGAZINE CONTENTS PAGE

This is my final music magazine contents page. When designing my first page I was not overall satisfied with the outcome of my magazine. I tried to produce my product like something of a VIBE contents page however, when I developed research I found that the NME contents page looked much more efficient and professional, therefore, I decided to change it and aim it towards something of the same content of an NME contents page.

FINAL MUSIC MAGAZINE FRONT COVER

t

The image above is my final rendition of my front cover of my music magazine. After multiple changes I finally settled with this for my front cover. I used Microsoft publisher to create this.

Music magazine front page draft

This was my first daft of my music magazine. I received constructive feedback from my peers telling me to consider the colour of the text against black areas as it contrasted too much against each other. Also, they informed me that the colour and font of my date made it barely readable so therefore I changed this before my final edition of my music magazine front cover.

Music magazine edited photo's

This is my before and after photoshoot for my double page spread. As you can see the image on the left was prior my editing. I used the shot healing tool on Photoshop to correct some blemishes. I also used the clone stamp tool to remove some white specks that were on the hat. In order to give this photo the almost sepia type effect, I changed the colouring of the photo on Photoshop and used a bronze tint colour to create this effect.

Music magazine photo shoot

The images above are of the photshoots I completed for my music magazine. I took multiple photo's, saved them as J pegs and then chose the ones I was going to use and edited them accordingly.
