Photoshop Lesson

The images above show the pre-hand Photoshop task and what it looks like after. I have used the clone-stamp tool in order to achieve my finished piece. This tool allows you to clone a certain area and then cover over the desired area you wish to remove. This is how I achieved the removal of the remaining 5 bottles. When doing this you have to be careful what area you choose as it has to be exact to the area you are covering or it will not look real. This is why I chose different parts of the greenery in the background to make it look more realistic and as though there was nothing there to begin with.

For this image I used the polygonal Lasso tool, this should only be used on areas with a straight edge which was achievable here as we wanted a rectangle shape. Once I had selected by area i chose the black and white effect on the chosen area. I found this task especially simple as the polygonal lasso tool helped me achieve a straight edge unlike the lasso tool which was extremely hard in perfecting.
For this image I used the spot healing brush tool. I also used the Clone stamp tool to remove the shine of some areas, for this I selected an area of his skin with no shine to it and then cloned it on top of the unwanted area. For the spot healing brush tool, you have to get your circle just slightly bigger than the chosen spot and then click onto it to remove it. I found this task the easiest to do as it did not require any special skill.

The images below are a before and after shot of some work I done on Photoshop. The image on the right was the final product. I used the clone stamp to create this piece and remove the other 5 bottles. When using the clone stamp I was sure to use different shades of greenery to ensure it didn't look to unrealistic or one block colour. I also did this for the wood, as some was shaded and some wasn't.
